Gmail fixes signature in webmail
Category: Email

For most Gmail users, using the standard signature feature can be a major annoyance.

Why? Because if you’re replying to an email, Gmail places the signature all the way down at the bottom of the message.
Yes, even below the message that you’re replying to.

However, that has now been corrected with a new addition to the “Labs” section in the “Settings” option.
Once you’re inside your account, click on “Settings” and then click on “Labs”.

Scroll all the way down and you should see this option (this is a thumbnail version, click on it to see a larger and clearer version):

And with that, you’ve now got your signature where it should be, right after your message.
(Of course, there may be a number of folks who do prefer having the signature below the original message).

Also, and just for fun, you can choose to add a random signature in your emails as well.
This can be a little dangerous depending on who your recipient is.

The last thing you want your significant other to see is a quote like, “Love is blind”.
